Sr Engineer – Wexford
Job Description
Our client is an international building & civil engineering main contractor
They are looking to appoint Sr Engineer in Wexford
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Oversee multiple work packages from commencement through to completion.
- Monitor progress against programme and address any issues that may affect delivery.
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed to the required standards.
- Attend site and project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with H&S, quality and environmental requirements.
- Assist with planning, procurement and resource allocation across the project portfolio
- Review drawings, specifications and construction information, and raise RFIs where needed.
- Maintain strong quality control, with accurate inspection, test and as-built records.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, clients, consultants and local authorities as required.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil engineering or groundworks.
- Previous experience at Senior Engineer or Site Engineer level.
- Experience managing sections of work and subcontractors independently.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Full Irish driving licence.
Salary c€85,000 with EV plus full package
