Health & Safety Advisor Limerick
Our client is a national construction company
They wish to recruit an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor for a new project in Limerick
You will provide visible health and safety leadership and direction to the project and be part of the company wide health and safety team to implement strategy.
Proactive project focused individual, strong communication and interpersonal/presentation skills, present information to different audiences at project and business unit level.
Conduct regular, formal site audits and carrying out inspections.
Ensure record of statutory inspections are kept for all activities and plant equipment;
Deliver Health & Safety induction programmes for new employees or contractors working on site;
Organise and chair Safety Meetings for staff and Sub-Contractors personnel;
Ensure sub-contractor safety statement sand required Method statement are available on site and assess sub-contractor statements and method statements, assisting where required;
Advise Site Management in drafting and communicating Method Statements;
Conduct preliminary accident investigations and statutory notifications.
Risk assessments and ensure risks are reduced.
Oversee the Health Safety and Welfare risk management, Health Safety and Welfare incident reporting and investigation. Oversee Health Safety and Welfare standards and evaluation of compliance
