BCAR Coordinator Galway

Our client an established construction company who undertake building & infrastructure projects nationally are looking to recruit a BCAR Coordinator to be based in Galway. Sample portfolio projects including both public and private sector – residential, commercial, offices, civic, hospitality, education, medical and infrastructure
Reporting to Group Quality Manager you will work closely with Assigned Certifier & Site Management teams ensuring work is carried out on site in accordance with the specifications while maximising productivity.
This role will be full-time and located in Galway

Verify quality-related site activities to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Provide progress updates for project reports.
Prepare and organize quality records, acceptance certificates, and completion certificates as per project requirements.
Manage and administer BCAR, including notifications, inspections, and meetings with Assigned Certifier.
Compile completion certificates, ancillary certificates, and handover documentation before Practical Completion (PC).
Track and collect product certification from contractors.
Attend client, design, and site meetings, conducting timely inspections with documented reports.
Monitor and resolve open compliance issues on projects.
Ensure site safety compliance.
Support Site Manager and site teams in meetings and progress reporting.
Collaborate with Quality Manager, Contracts Manager, and Site Teams.
Provide additional support to site teams not meeting budget and quality standards.

3rd level qualification with minimum 2yrs experience required
Salary to €55K with bonus + full benefits package
