Job Overview:

Our client, an international construction organisation with projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe are seeking a skilled 4D Planning Specialist to join a team in Citywest, Dublin, Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with 3D information from various sources, using SYNCHRO 4D Pro to create and manage temporary and groundwork model additions. As a subject matter expert, the 4D Planning Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the technical and cultural integration of 4D Planning models across the project.



  • Integration of 3D Information: Proficiently interface with 3D information from diverse sources. Utilise SYNCHRO 4D Pro to seamlessly integrate data into the project model.
  • Model Creation and Management: Create and manage temporary and groundwork model additions using SYNCHRO 4D Pro. Assign geometry to the program and ensure accuracy in representation.
  • Reporting and Findings: Review and analyse findings from the 4D model. Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to the project team.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in 4D Planning models. Assist teams in the effective utilisation of 4D technology, providing technical support and guidance.
  • Cultural Integration: Support the cultural integration of 4D Planning models across the organisation. Work collaboratively to ensure teams embrace and effectively implement 4D technology.
  • Workshops and Presentations: Conduct regular project team workshops to facilitate understanding and proficiency in 4D Planning. Present developments and findings using the 4D model to internal teams and clients.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Construction Management, or similar).
  • 4+ years of experience within the construction industry.
  • Experience in 4D Planning and utilisation of SYNCHRO 4D Pro.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D modelling and data integration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
