Finishing Manager – Dublin 7
Job Description
Our client a national building contractor are looking to hire a Finishing Manager
€30M commercial project in Dublin 7 due to finish September 2027
Duties:
- Oversee all finishing works to ensure high-quality project delivery
- Coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades on site
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all finishing activities
- Monitor programme progress and support short-term planning
- Carry out snagging, quality inspections, and ensure defect-free handover
- Maintain site records, reporting, and daily progress updates
- Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and wider project team
- Ensure materials, workmanship, and finishes meet specification standards
- Support site logistics and coordination of finishing sequences
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a Finishing Foreman or similar role
- Strong background working with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK
- Experience on large-scale building projects (€10m+)
- Excellent eye for detail and strong quality focus
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and tight programmes
