Health and Safety Officer – Wicklow

Our client is a T1 Main Contractor

They wish to appoint H&S Officer for 2yr commercial project in Wicklow who will develop and enforce workplace safety policies, conduct risk assessments, provide training, inspects site, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation to prevent accidents. Key Responsibilities

• Policy & Procedure: Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
• Risk Management: Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
• Monitoring & Auditing: Carry out workplace inspections, audits, and site visits to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Training & Awareness: Deliver health and safety training, promote safety culture, and educate staff on best practices.
• Incident Management: Investigate accidents, near misses, and ill-health incidents, reporting findings and recommending preventive actions.
• Compliance: Stay updated on health and safety legislation and ensure the organization adheres to all legal requirements.
• Advisory: Provide expert advice to management and employees on all health and safety matters.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 2yrs H&S experience in Construction

Salary €53K- €65K with car plus package
