Site Manager – Façade Fitout – Donegal

Our client is a national construction company

They wish to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee the façade & fitout of €65M building project in Donegal. You will have responsibility from when the structure is completed to then manage the day-to-day facade and internal fitout. The program of works is 18mths.

Ideally you will have previous experience working on large scale building projects preferably with an established Building Contractor in Ireland or UK

Reporting to PM duties include:

Responsible for the site management and supporting the Project Manager with the day to day running of the project.
Coordination & Delivery of onsite activities.
Management of resources to meet agreed project targets.
Implement & deliver project objectives around H&S, Quality, Commercial and Programme.
Communicate clearly to all stakeholders.
Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management.

Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site management team and the work of any subcontractors

Reviewing performance against targets and identifying and managing potential risks and opportunities.

Proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise and associate        d reporting to the Project Manager

Managing project handover and ensuring defect/ snag free completion.

Sharing best practice and driving continuous improvements.

Attend/Chair internal meetings with sub-contractors.

Salary to €90K
