Site Superintendents / Managers x2 – Perth / Western Australia

Our client is Tier 1 Australian Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor
Projects typically include highways, mining, earthworks, rail, marine, resources, groundworks, bridges etc

Due to continued growth with multiple projects secured for the foreseeable future they are looking to recruit the following for Groundworks Division

Site Superintendents / Managers x2 Perth / Western Australia

• Responsible for monitoring and coordinating daily activities of site personnel and subcontractors
• Support the Site Project Manager with daily operations
• Take responsibility for managing day to day activities on-site throughout the project lifecycle, leading the Project Team to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget.
• Check and understand all drawings and specification. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner.
• Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials and recording of same on the document control system.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations and good building practise.
• Assist with management of all aspects of Health & Safety and Quality on site, ensuring compliance with the Company’s Quality and Safety Management Systems including management of subcontractors and plant.
• Liaise with Client/Design Teams as necessary.
• Performing quality audits on a regular basis to ensure quality is being met and specifications are adhered to
• Management of site materials and ensuring site welfare is maintained

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Trade qualified – 5+ year’s previous relevant experience within a similar role with a proven track record for delivering logistically challenging projects  and/or
• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / similar
• Previous experience in civils / groundworks .. drainage, watermains, kerbing, earthworks, excavation etc is a must within a recognised contractor
• Experience: 5+ yrs
• Good IT skills and computer literacy, proficient in the use of MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability to coordinate a number of varied projects.

Please note the above salary are for projects in Perth – roles which are available.
If you work FIFO / regional based roles there is an uplift in above salary typically between 45%-55%
FIFO rotas can vary between 2×1 / 10×4 etc (depends on client requirements per project)
The projects we’re currently recruiting for are based in Perth city but you can work FIFO should you wish

Project Engineers x3     1-4yrs exp    AU$150K – AU$200K + above package + 50% uplift for FIFO projects
Senior Project Engineers x3     5-10 yrs exp    AU$200K – AU$250K + above package + 50% uplift for FIFO projects
Excavator Drivers x3   typically AU$120K+ salary + above package + 50% uplift for FIFO projects
Groundworkers (drainage/pipe laying) x3    typically AU$120K+ salary + above package + 50% uplift for FIFO projects
