MEP Lead- Dublin West Blanchardstown

Our client is an International Building & Engineering Contractor with numerous high value projects across Europe.

Role:   
They are now seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join their fast paced team, who will thrive working within a collaborative environment delivering fast paced market leading schemes within the Data Centre sector. The MEP Lead, with electrical or mechanical bias, will lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers carrying out delivery of large MEP projects and ensure the project programme is kept.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.  Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion.  Display commercial astuteness.  Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials.  Coordinate and liaise with contract managers, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information.  Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications ensuring that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner.  Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team.  Oversee highest quality of health and safety.
