Job Description:
Manage design coordination for timely delivery of critical design information for on-site work execution across DC, Pharma + Life Science sectors. Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain quality control, and facilitate effective communication among internal and external stakeholders. Projects include Datacentres, Pharma & Hi-Tec
Responsibilities:
- Design Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders to create project-specific design plans aligning with goals, budgets, and regulations. Review and interpret technical documentation.
- Project Planning: Contribute to setting design milestones, budgets, and schedules. Aid in consultant and subcontractor selection.
- Quality Control: Enforce stringent quality standards, conducting reviews and documenting changes for compliance.
- Compliance and Regulations: Stay current with codes, ensuring designs meet local and international standards and securing permits.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective project-wide communication and facilitate design-related meetings.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organised design documentation and provide regular progress reports.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design challenges to ensure project success.
- Budget Management: Assist in cost control while seeking cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in coordinating design for construction projects, with a focus on data centers, high-tech facilities, or pharmaceutical plants.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Relevant certifications and licenses.
