| Junior Estimator (M&E) Office based Dublin 15 area €30 000.00 - €40 000.00 DOE Quantity Surveying / Estimating / Engineering or Trade background considered Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts and negotiate contracts with clients Ensure health & safety and environmental files are kept up to date & in compliance with the latest regulations Review packages/Drawings and contracts to identify unacceptable terms and conditions prior to acceptance or submittal of estimated project value. Prepare submit and agree main contract valuations Keeping a daily diary of all on-site activities and noting all man- hours materials and equipment used on-site taking relevant photographic evidence to back up where relevant. Introduction to financial monitoring and reporting of projects assigned. Ensuring proper administration of the Contract requirements Gather and collate records of all work done Ensure prompt submission of invoices and applications for payment. Marking up drawings and submitting detailed breakdown for variation work. Liaising with material providers Ensure accurate record keeping of all materials ordered & delivered to site & noting any delivery issues that may arise. Understanding & ability to accurately take off Ventilation & Pipework (M&E) drawings is a requirement. A good understanding of Excel and IT skills necessary.
